1. What this policy covers

This policy applies to everyone who uses FireFunc — the website, the application, the API, webhooks and the runner — and to the agents configured in it. It forms part of the Terms of Service, and words defined there mean the same here.

The Customer is responsible for the people it invites and for its agents. What an agent does on your instructions counts as your use of the Service.

2. What the Service may not be used for

  • Breaking the law, including export control and sanctions laws.
  • Infringing others’ rights: their copyrights, trademarks, patents or trade secrets, or their privacy — for example, processing personal data without a lawful basis, or monitoring people in ways the law does not allow.
  • Harming people: content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening or hateful, or that sexually exploits children.
  • Deceiving people: fraud, phishing, or impersonating a person or an organization.
  • Unwanted messages: spam or other unsolicited messages sent through notifications, comments, webhooks or any other output of the Service.
  • Malicious software: writing, storing or spreading malware, or anything designed to damage, disrupt or gain unauthorized access to a system.

3. Only what you are allowed to touch

  • Connect only the tools, repositories and accounts you are authorized to connect, and point agents only at systems and data you are authorized to change.
  • Do not use agents to break into a system, or to test the security of a system without its owner’s permission.
  • Follow the terms of the tools and AI engines you connect, including their limits on automated use.

4. Respecting FireFunc itself

Do not:

  • probe, scan or test the Service for vulnerabilities, except as our Responsible Disclosure policy permits;
  • access, or try to access, another customer’s data;
  • get around sign-in, plan limits, seat counts or any other restriction of the Service;
  • share an account, or let more than one person use it;
  • overload or disrupt the Service, including by sending its API or webhooks far more traffic than your use needs;
  • copy, frame or scrape the Service, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows this despite the restriction;
  • resell or sublicense the Service, or use it to build a competing product.

5. High-risk use

Do not use the Service, or what its agents produce without independent human review, where a failure could kill or injure someone, or seriously damage property or the environment — for example, in medical devices, the control of vehicles or aircraft, or critical infrastructure.

6. What we do about misuse

We may investigate suspected breaches of this policy. If we find one, we may remove or disable content, or suspend or end access to all or part of the Service, as the Terms allow. We act in proportion to the problem, and we tell you the reason and what would resolve it, unless the law or an urgent risk prevents us.

We may report illegal activity to the authorities.

7. Reporting misuse

Report a suspected breach of this policy to admin@firefunc.com. To report a security vulnerability in FireFunc, follow our Responsible Disclosure policy. We may update this policy as the Terms describe; the date and version at the top of this page change when we do.
